JOB TITLE: Avionics Software Test Engineer
LOCATION: Tustin, CA
PAY RATE: $56/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (3-4 months)

  • Location: This is a remote or on-site (ability to work from home one day a week) role for 1st shift

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Verify safety-critical avionics software using automated test frameworks.

  • Design and write unit tests for avionics software written in C++.

  • Develop and document verification strategies and procedures for software requirements.

  • Translate verification steps into automated scripts to execute on an automated test bench.

  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to design, verify, and validate complex hardware/software systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field from an accredited university (required).

  • 2–5 years of aerospace experience (required).

  • Proficiency in C++ (required).

  • Experience with requirements-based software testing, including developing test cases at both the unit and system levels.

  • Experience with GoogleTest or similar unit testing tools for C++ code.

  • Experience developing and maintaining a regression testing framework.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
