Summary:Â
Seeking Electrical Mechanics to support the VC-25B Program in San Antonio, TX.
Candidates must have 4+ years of on-aircraft electrical installation and modification experience, including routing and terminations of various wiring systems.
This role involves electrical modifications, troubleshooting, and testing on aircraft systems, ensuring compliance with engineering and safety standards.
Required Skills:
4+ years of on-aircraft electrical installation and modification experience.
Experience with routing and terminating shielded wires, coaxial cables, and fiber optic wiring.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and schematics.
Proficiency in modifying, troubleshooting, and testing electrical and environmental systems.
Hands-on experience with wire harness sealing, wrapping, bonding, and tying.
Knowledge of shop mathematics, electrical/electronic theories, and systems.
Proficient in aircraft-related computer systems and basic office software.
Ability to obtain customer approval for access (dual citizenship or prior foreign citizenship may preclude access).
Willing to work various shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Ability to lift 35 lbs, work in confined spaces, ascend/descend ladders, and operate in high-noise environments.
Desired Skills:
Experience working on a Modification Program.
Ability to operate forklifts, mobile cranes, and electric-powered elevating equipment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
