JOB TITLE: Sheet Metal Mechanic - 1st Shift
LOCATION: 
Pinellas Park, FL
PAY RATE: Up to $21/hour

Summary: 

  • We are seeking candidates with any level of sheet metal experience for an opportunity to join a team supporting aircraft part assembly.

  • While aircraft-specific experience is not required, prior experience as an Assembler or Aircraft Structures Mechanic is highly preferred.

  • Manufacture, assemble, and refurbish aircraft parts (e.g., F-16/F-35 canopies, C-130 components)

  • Perform part fitting, measuring, trimming, and quality checks

  • Modify assemblies as needed and perform basic repairs

  • Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings

  • Ensure quality standards are met and assist with corrective actions

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of sheet metal assembly experience (open to all sheet metal backgrounds)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical data

  • Basic math skills and computer proficiency

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Aircraft structures experience on F-16, F-35, or C-130

  • Experience using jigs, fixtures, templates, and build-to-print techniques

  • Familiarity with operations such as riveting, drilling, reaming, cold working, and framing

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
