JOB TITLE: Production Control Associate II
LOCATION: 
Marysville, WA
PAY RATE: Up to $33/hour

Job Details:

  • Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

  • Work Setting: Approximately 90% office/desk work and 10% time on the production floor

Summary: 

  • Responsible for managing and monitoring the flow of materials through manufacturing departments.

  • Work cross-functionally with Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, and Production to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products.

  • The ideal candidate brings a strong background in aerospace production, attention to detail, and solid communication skills.

  • Coordinate and track material flow across departments.

  • Ensure accuracy of Bills of Material (BOM).

  • Partner with Planning to maintain production schedules in the ERP system.

  • Manage project part shortages and material exceptions.

  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Engineering on drawings, releases, and improvements.

  • Work with the Spares Department to provide pricing and lead time information.

  • Review Material Review Board (MRB) issues and drive resolution.

  • Support continuous improvement and lean product flow initiatives.

  • Communicate project details to Shipping, Stores, Quality, and Program Management.

  • Coach and mentor Production Control I staff.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED; vocational/technical schooling preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an aerospace production environment.

  • Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.

  • Strong knowledge of root cause analysis and problem-solving.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and communicate technical documentation.

  • Must meet ITAR definition of a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident not affiliated with foreign entities).

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing processes.

  • Strong communication skills—verbal and written.

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks under pressure.

  • Self-motivated with a technical aptitude and attention to detail.

  • Team-oriented with a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment (approx. 90%) with occasional manufacturing floor exposure (approx. 10%).

  • Occasional lifting of up to 35 lbs.

  • Must have normal hearing and vision for safe factory operation.

  • May require extended hours as needed.
