Job Description

JOB TITLE: Aircraft Avionics Technician
LOCATION: Georgetown. SC
PAY RATE: $41-46/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair avionics systems on a variety of aircraft platforms

  • Perform functional and operational checks to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and manufacturer standards

  • Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals for accurate system integration and repairs

  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure timely completion of work orders

  • Accurately document all work performed in accordance with regulatory and company requirements

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of avionics experience on business jets and/or turboprop aircraft

  • Strong knowledge of FAR Part 91/135 and Part 145 repair station requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret complex wiring diagrams and schematics

  • Proficiency troubleshooting using advanced diagnostic tools and test equipment

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality standards

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A&P License

  • Experience performing software updates and system configurations for Garmin, Collins, and Honeywell avionics

  • Familiarity with cabin entertainment and aircraft connectivity systems

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
