JOB TITLE: Microelectronics Wire Bonder - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Chelmsford, MA
PAY RATE: $28/hour

Job Details:

• Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Perform manual and automated wire and ribbon bonding on microelectronic components

• Operate bonding machines, microscopes, and precision measurement tools

• Follow detailed assembly instructions and work under magnification

• Use hand and pneumatic tools (tweezers, torque drivers, etc.)

• Maintain accurate production documentation

• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required

• This IS A CLEARANCE JOB. Interim Secret required to start.

• Experience in microelectronics wire bonding (manual gold ball and ribbon)

• Familiarity with manual and automatic bonding equipment

• Basic computer skills (digital timekeeping, work instructions)

• Strong attention to detail; ability to follow instructions

• Willingness to learn industry standards (J-STD-001, IPC-A-610)

• Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
