JOB TITLE: Aircraft Interior Installation Technician II
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $23.31/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Safely perform aircraft interior removal, installation, and fabrication tasks for components such as galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors, and vanity panels.

  • Coordinate with supervision and inspection teams to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures, FAA documentation requirements, and quality specifications.

  • Execute fit and installation work according to work orders and engineering specifications.

  • Use material tracking systems to generate parts demand, track discrepancies (squawks), and complete required sign-offs.

  • Follow standard operating procedures when operating tools and shop equipment, including hand tools, band saws, shears, sanders, and brakes.

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper care of tools and shop equipment.

  • Follow safety policies, 5S standards, and PPE requirements; address unsafe conditions immediately.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

  • Willingness to work any assigned shift.

  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 40 pounds.

  • Basic computer literacy required.

  • Application installation, fabrication, or trade school experience preferred.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
