JOB TITLE: Senior Aircraft Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift 
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $36.04/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Perform periodic maintenance and servicing of mechanical systems, meeting or exceeding quoted/CMP time standards.

  • Provide work direction and uphold quality standards for assigned technicians.

  • Act as Mechanical Team Lead (MTL) when assigned.

  • Coordinate with Inspection to meet FAA and internal documentation requirements.

  • Identify, tag, and store customer property securely.

  • Operate and supervise ground support equipment and special tools for component removal and installation.

  • Coordinate aircraft movement as required.

  • Assist with training new employees on CMP, SRMs, IPCs, and component maintenance.

  • Work cross-functionally to arrange repair or overhaul of customer property.

  • Utilize the material tracking system for parts and labor documentation.

  • Apply 6S and Lean principles to maintain clean, organized work areas.

  • Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste materials.

  • Maintain and properly store company tools and equipment.

  • Support aircraft certification and testing, including flight tests as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 4+ years of aviation maintenance experience, including 3+ years working on mid- or large-size aircraft.

  • Corporate aircraft experience preferred.

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate required.

  • Valid Driver’s License required.

  • Advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures across multiple aircraft models.

  • Strong understanding of technical reference materials (maintenance manuals, IPCs, service bulletins, structural repair manuals, engineering drawings, etc.).

  • Working knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, and company repair/quality control procedures.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
