JOB TITLE: Aircraft Interior Installation Technician II
LOCATION: Savvanah. GA
PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Safely remove, install, and fabricate aircraft interior components including galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors, and panels.

  • Coordinate with supervision and inspection teams to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, Repair Station procedures, and internal paperwork.

  • Use the material tracking system to initiate parts requests, document squawks, and sign off completed tasks.

  • Follow standard operating procedures while using hand tools, saws, shears, sanders, brakes, and other shop equipment.

  • Prepare and install interior components to company standards and procedures.

  • Remove and reinstall hardware such as nut plates, inserts, and fasteners as required.

  • Comply with all safety protocols, including 5S and housekeeping practices; use PPE as required and report unsafe conditions immediately.

  • Support aircraft maintenance tasks under supervision.

  • Adapt to sudden changes in schedules or priorities.

  • Collaborate with leads and senior technicians to identify and implement process improvements using Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies.

  • Create and use basic templates and patterns for interior work following standard procedures.

  • Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, which may include flight testing.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Minimum 2 years of installation, fabrication, or related experience; aerospace industry

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documents

  • Proficient with hand and power tools used for aircraft interior work

  • Able to climb ladders and stairs, work in confined spaces, lift up to 40 pounds, and work any assigned shift

  • Computer literate

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Fluent in English (read, write, speak, understand)

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
