JOB TITLE: RS Avionics Installer I
LOCATION: Dallas, TX
PAY RATE: $26.93/hour

Summary: 

• Under moderate supervision, assist in the removal and installation of avionics electrical components

• Support fabrication of wire harnesses, electrical installations, terminations, ring-out procedures, and functional testing of avionics and electrical systems

• Assist in installation, modification, and fabrication of wiring, electrical components, fixtures, and related equipment following blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings

• Support completion of assigned tasks within established timeframes

• Maintain required logs and records

• Follow company safety programs, including FOD control, tool control, 5S standards, and safety regulations

• Maintain and care for assigned shop equipment and tools

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Entry-level position

• Preferred: Six months of aviation electronics schooling or general electrical experience

• General knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications

• Ability to use a multimeter

• Technical certificate in aircraft electrical assembly preferred

• Completion of relevant apprenticeship program preferred

• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Basic computer and software proficiency

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
