JOB TITLE: Aircraft Upholstery Technician I

PAY RATE: $24.50/hour

Summary:
Perform upholstery functions within design, customer, FAA, and specifications, completing all tasks per work order instructions.
Fit and install panels, windows, cabin headliners, sidewalls, hatch panels, bulkheads, and carpets.
Create carpet patterns per design drawings and complete installation.
Fabricate and install various metal parts, coverings, and trim as required.
Use the material tracking system to create parts demand, track discrepancies, and sign off work.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Entry-level position.
Experience with commercial sewing machines, sergers, or hand tools used in upholstery and carpet trades preferred.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.
Skilled in using measuring tools and performing basic math computations.
Computer literacy required.
Ability to climb ladders/stairs, work in confined spaces, lift up to 40 lbs, and work any assigned shift.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
