Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Perform static and fatigue analysis of primary and secondary airframe structures (metallic and composite)
Apply classical stress analysis methods to evaluate structural integrity
Support stress analysis and drawing release using CATIA V5
Review and interpret 2D engineering drawings
Contribute to aircraft modifications and repairs (e.g., STC, MRB, Service)
Support composite structure analysis, including allowable testing and certification requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field required (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
10+ years of experience in a specific technical discipline
OR 15+ years of broad engineering experience across multiple disciplines with a Bachelor’s degree
Advanced degrees may count toward experience:
Master’s: up to 2 years credit
PhD: up to 4 years credit
Strong experience in static and fatigue analysis of metallic airframe structures
Solid background in classical stress analysis
Proficiency with CATIA V5
Experience reviewing 2D drawings
Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with aircraft modifications and repairs (STC, MRB, Service)
Experience with composite structure analysis and certification requirements
Familiarity with Patran/Nastran
Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work in team environments
