Job Description

JOB TITLE: Avionics Installer I
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Assist with installation, modification, and fabrication of wiring, electrical components, fixtures, and related equipment in accordance with blueprints, engineering drawings, and worksheets

  • Support completion of assigned tasks within established timeframes

  • Maintain required logs and documentation accurately

  • Follow FOD, tool control, 5S, and all company safety programs

  • Properly maintain and care for assigned tools and shop equipment

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • General knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications

  • Ability to use a multimeter

  • Entry-level position

  • Six (6) months of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience preferred

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly preferred

  • Completion of a youth apprenticeship program in aircraft electrical assembly (if applicable)

  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Basic computer skills and general software proficiency
