Job Description

JOB TITLE: Aircraft Technician A&P - Weekend Shift
LOCATION: Greensboro, NC
PAY RATE: $33-45/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Summary: 

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections, maintenance, and repairs on airframe and power plant systems per approved methods and practices.

  • Document work in accordance with Regulatory and Repair Station/Quality Manual policies.

  • Demonstrate proficiency with maintenance methods, tools, and equipment.

  • Identify, protect, and preserve aircraft parts and materials in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure installed parts and materials meet all regulatory standards.

  • Perform work safely and maintain good housekeeping practices.

  • Provide detailed turnovers for unfinished maintenance during shift changes.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • FAR Part 145 Repair Station experience with general and/or business/corporate aircraft.

  • A&P Certification (14 CFR Part 65) from a FAR Part 147 School required.

  • Experience with 14 CFR Part 43 required; familiarity with Parts 91, 135, and 145 preferred.

  • Working knowledge of maintenance software (Quantum, Corridor, SAP), Windows OS, and Microsoft Office.

  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft maintenance requirements, inspections, and practices.

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
