Job Description

JOB TITLE: Aircraft Systems Assembly - Free Housing Support

LOCATION: North Charleston, SC

PAY RATE: Up to $32.00/hour

Details: 

  • 12-month contract with opportunities for extension

  • Variable shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and overtime as needed based on business demands.

Summary:

  • Performs routine assembly on structural and mechanical assemblies, aircraft systems, and accessories. Tasks include:
  • Following detailed instructions, reading blueprints, and interpreting specifications

  • Conducting hydraulic, lighting, interior repairs, duct, waste, and water system installations

  • Selecting appropriate parts, tools, and materials for installation

  • Reporting constraints, performing rework, functional checks, and authorized adjustments

  • Drilling close-tolerance holes, indexing tools, and measuring gaps

  • Maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area and adhering to safety protocols

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 1+ years of assembly experience following detailed work instructions

  • Basic computer skills, troubleshooting, and proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Strong attention to detail, teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift up to 25 pounds, with occasional two-person lifts for heavier items

  • Frequent bending, crouching, overhead work, and standing on various surfaces

  • Exposure to sealants, solvents, noise, elevated platforms, and varying conditions
