JOB TITLE: Aircraft Structures Mechanic
LOCATION: Kinston, NC 
PAY RATE: $34/hour

Job Details:

• Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

• Pay & per diem: $110/week for those who qualify

Summary: 

• Performs assembly and installation of parts and components per blueprints, specifications, and work orders.

• Uses precision measuring instruments and manual/automated tools to complete assignments.

• Conducts functional testing, rework, and fabrication as needed.

• Moves materials, documents discrepancies, and supports continuous workflow through training and collaboration.

• Cross-trains in inspection and obtains SIA qualification.

Requirements:

• Local candidates strongly preferred

• Must be able to work any assigned shift, including overtime and weekends

• Must be able to stand and work for the entire 8-hour shift

• Verifies part dimensions using mechanical and electronic measurement tools

• Performs various assembly tasks, including:

  • Drilling, sealing, and inserting fasteners

  • Varnishing, painting, and countersinking

  • Applying sealant and assembling sub-structures

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
