Job Description

JOB TITLE: Aircraft Structural Mechanic L2
LOCATION: Tulsa, OK

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Interpret and work from engineering requirements, work orders, blueprints, charts, sketches, work instructions, and verbal/electronic information to manufacture parts and assemblies to quality standards.

  • Set up and perform manual assembly operations and related machine functions as required.

  • Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.

  • Assemble and mate structural parts and assemblies using drilling, routing, reaming, countersinking, spot-facing, counterboring, and installing fasteners with hand tools.

  • Utilize tooling to assemble components into sub-assemblies or final products.

  • Verify completed work aligns with instructions and engineering specifications; report discrepancies per procedures.

  • Ensure tools and equipment are certified in accordance with company policies.

  • Complete assignments within scheduled timeframes.

  • Support continuous workflow by assisting and training other employees across all levels.

  • Must successfully pass a skills demonstration.

Requirements:

  • 5–10 years of relevant structural assembly experience.

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation and engineering drawings.

  • Skilled in precision measurement tools.

  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Must pass a hands-on skills demonstration.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
