JOB TITLE: RS Structural Mechanic IV

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Assemble and fit detail parts and structures, ensuring quality through drilling, riveting, and other operations

• Use complex blueprints and technical documents for layout, fabrication, and installation of parts on aircraft

• Coordinate with supervision and inspection to comply with FAA regulations, paperwork, and quality standards

• Rivet parts and structures, removing fasteners without damage

• Mentor and train team members in interpreting blueprints and resolving production issues

• Perform repairs and rework to meet conformity and quality standards

• Maintain records (e.g., MIR sheets, DMTs, PCOs)

• Ensure a defect-free assembly prior to final inspection

• Support 5S, Lean, and safety initiatives, maintaining a clean and orderly work area

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• 6 years of related structural assembly experience

• Experience with Solumnia and Smarteam preferred

• Q-stamp preferred

• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions

• Ability to work with close tolerances and specialized tools

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in small or restricted spaces

• Must be able to work any shift
