JOB TITLE: Aircraft Structural Mechanic IV
LOCATION: Appleton, WI
PAY RATE: $32.18/hour

Summary:
Independently performs structural assembly operations using appropriate tools, prints, specs, and operational requirements to ensure conformance to specifications.
Assists and mentors team members while maintaining quality and customer expectations.
Perform assembly, fitting, drilling, and riveting operations to meet specifications.
Interpret and use schematics, blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical instructions.
Coordinate with supervision and inspection to ensure compliance with FAA paperwork and quality standards.
Remove fasteners without damaging structures and ensure defect-free assemblies.
Use required tools (riveting guns, drills, countersinks, files, reamers, etc.).
Align and assemble parts using jigs, holding fixtures, and fasteners.
Complete necessary rework to meet conformity requirements.
Maintain logs and records (MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs).
Train and assist team members with blueprints, engineering orders, and problem resolution.
Plan and organize workloads to meet goal hours and schedules.
Support Lean initiatives and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.
6 years of structural assembly experience.
Proficient in computers and related software.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Skilled in close-tolerance work with special tools and measuring devices.
Strong mathematical skills for dimensional problem-solving.
Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
Must be able to work any shift.
Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension).
Desired Skills:
Experience with Solumnia and Smarteam preferred.
Q-stamp preferred.
