Job Description

JOB TITLE: Aircraft Structural Mechanic III 
LOCATION: Tulsa, OK
PAY RATE: $28.75/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Under minimal supervision, perform complex structural assembly, installation, and repair tasks in a team environment.

  • Follow blueprints, engineering specs, and operational procedures to ensure all work meets quality and customer standards.

  • Perform fitting, drilling, riveting, and sheet metal layout on aircraft components

  • Use a variety of hand and pneumatic tools (e.g., rivet guns, drills, countersinks)

  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and operation sheets

  • Align and assemble parts using jigs, fixtures, pins, and clamps

  • Perform repairs based on DMTs, MRRs, and PCOs

  • Check all work to ensure defect-free assemblies

  • Provide guidance and support to team members

  • Maintain logs and records (MIRs, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs)

  • Follow 5S and Lean practices; maintain a clean, safe work area

  • Participate in shift turnover meetings and continuous improvement activities

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 4+ years of structural assembly experience

  • Strong attention to detail and hands-on mechanical aptitude

  • Ability to read scales and perform basic math

  • Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs

  • Knowledge of composite materials and proper PPE usage

  • Ability to use and maintain ground support equipment and tools

  • Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred

  • Q-Stamp preferred

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
