JOB TITLE: Aircraft Structural Mechanic II
LOCATION: Tulsa, OK
PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

Summary: 

• Works in a team-oriented environment, performing structural assembly operations with minimal supervision.

• Ensures work meets company design specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations.

• Assemble and fit structural parts, drilling, riveting, and fabricating sheet metal components.

• Install parts using adhesives, sealants, and solvents per standard procedures.

• Use tools such as pneumatic drills, riveting guns, reamers, and countersinks.

• Align and assemble parts using jigs, clamps, and fasteners.

• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and operation sheets.

• Inspect work for defects and ensure compliance before final inspection.

• Perform repairs per Discrepant Material Tags (DMT) and Production Change Orders (PCO).

• Follow safety protocols, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean workspace.

• Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials.

• Support Lean activities and maintain shop equipment.

• Track work progress and job charges.

• Communicate job-related information between shifts.

• Assist with equipment maintenance and shop organization.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• 2+ years of structural assembly experience.

• Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.

• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic shop math.

• Comfortable working with composite resins and materials.

• Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Must be able to work any shift and communicate effectively in English.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
