Job Description

JOB TITLE: Aircraft Structural Mechanic II 
LOCATION: Tulsa, OK
PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

  • Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations?

  • Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

  • Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary: 

  • Perform assembly, fitting, drilling, and riveting of parts and structures, ensuring conformity to specifications.

  • Conduct sheet metal layout, fabrication, and installation of aircraft components.

  • Use tools like riveting guns, pneumatic drills, and other equipment to complete assemblies.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine operation sequence and specifications.

  • Ensure defect-free assemblies and conduct necessary rework based on DMT, MRR, and PCO.

  • Maintain accurate logs and records (e.g., MIR sheets, DMTs, PCOs).

  • Follow safety regulations and support the 5S program.

  • Safely dispose of waste fluids and materials.

  • Charge jobs accurately and coordinate shift work activities.

  • Assist with shop equipment and support Lean activities.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • 2 years of structural assembly experience

  • Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred

  • Ability to read blueprints and use basic shop math.

  • Proficiency in using measuring tools and working with composites.

  • Strong attention to detail, professional attitude, and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and work any shift.

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
