Job Description

JOB TITLE: Aircraft Structural Mechanic I - Entry Level 
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $21.21/hour

Summary: 

  • Performs structural assembly operations in a production environment, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, customer specifications, and company quality standards.

  • The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work with various tools, materials, and processes.

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 1+ year of structural assembly experience or equivalent credit from an aircraft structures technical certificate program.

  • Basic knowledge of aircraft structures, sheet metal, and fabrication processes.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, scales, and basic documents.

  • Experience with tools for riveting, drilling, and structural assembly.

  • Basic computer skills for data entry and resource planning systems.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and work in confined spaces or any shift.

  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Solumina and Smarteam systems.

  • Familiarity with composite resins and materials.

  • Knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement processes (e.g., Kaizen, 5S).

  • Professional attitude, attention to detail, and ability to meet demanding schedules.
