PAY RATE: $21.21/hour

Summary:
-
Performing structural assembly tasks such as drilling, riveting, and fitting detail parts in a production environment, ensuring work meets specifications.

Under moderate supervision, the technician will read blueprints, check work for defects, maintain documentation, and ensure adherence to safety and housekeeping practices.
Required Skills
-
High School Diploma or GED.
-
1 year of related structural assembly experience.
-
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and operation sheets.
-
Basic computer skills and proficiency in shop math.
-
Ability to read a 6" scale.
-
Attention to detail and a professional attitude.
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in restricted areas.

Must be able to work any shift.
Desired Skills
-
Experience with Solumina and Smarteam.
-
Graduation from the Savannah Tech Aircraft Structures Technical Certificate Program.
-
Ability to work with composite resins and materials.
-
Knowledge of Lean Activities.
-
Strong teamwork, safety, and housekeeping practices.
