JOB TITLE: Aircraft Structural Fabrication - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Huntington Beach, CA
PAY RATE: $27/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain Secret clearance after hiring

Summary: 

• Build and assemble components and structural assemblies using hand/power tools and precision instruments.

• Perform drilling, bonding, fastening, riveting, and other mechanical operations on structural assemblies.

• Install wire harnesses, tubing, and other components per specifications.

• Modify existing assemblies as needed.

• Troubleshoot and repair components or assemblies during production.

• Maintain accurate records of completed work, inspections, and non-conformances.

• Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and configuration control.

• Work with engineers to suggest design improvements and process enhancements.

• Execute work through work orders, designs, and technical procedures.

Requirements:

• Must be able to obtain Secret clearance after hiring

• Technical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent experience in aircraft maintenance, machine trades, or manufacturing technologies.

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Composites, titanium, sheet metal

  • Riveting, fastening, wiring, tubing

  • Basic machining operations

• Familiarity with technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

• Use of tooling such as torque wrenches, countersinks, drills, deburring tools, and calibrated instruments.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
