JOB TITLE: Aircraft Sealant Mechanic
LOCATION: Renton, WA
PAY RATE: $46/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Compensation: Pay rate plus $110 per diem (per diem available only to non-local candidates residing 100+ miles from work location).

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Work with blueprints, specifications, work orders, and process documents to meet quality requirements.

• Complete required data transactions for seal progression.

• Perform rework, fabrication, change incorporation, and functional testing/checks during or after final seal.

• Use measuring instruments as needed for assignments.

• Report and help resolve job handicaps (errors, tooling, sequences, etc.).

• Support continuous workflow by training, coaching, and assisting team members.

• Document discrepancies per specifications and procedures.

• Temporarily attach parts/assemblies and install collars or hardware not related to drilling or countersinking.

• Perform integral fuel cell sealing and related wing section component sealing.

• Perform major assembly/large structure sealing and aerodynamic seal work.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• Exterior aerodynamic seal experience required.

• Must be able to work either shift.

• Must be eligible for rehire at Boeing (verify by calling 866-473-2016; response within 24–48 hrs).

• Training: SEA092, SEA083, ASY050, and required online training (conducted in Wichita, KS).

• Client will cover flights and hotel reimbursement for training (mileage reimbursement available if driving).

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
