JOB TITLE: Aircraft Quality Inspector
LOCATION: 
Kansas City, MO
PAY RATE: $40/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Ensuring all assigned work meets high standards of workmanship and complies with AAT, FAA, and manufacturer requirements.

  • Completing all required parts tags for units or parts changed.

  • Performing receiving inspections of new and continued service parts for serviceability, including certification verification and damage checks.

  • Conducting inspections of articles, products, facilities, vendors, and equipment as directed.

  • Performing stockroom inspections for proper tagging, storage, shelf life, and housekeeping.

  • Conducting technical research to verify compliance/status of aircraft, components, or systems.

  • Completing logbook entries as required.

  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable CFRs during assignments.

  • Performing inspections only on products for which proper training and qualifications have been obtained.

  • Conducting On-the-Job Training (OJT).

  • Reviewing, auditing, copying, and controlling aircraft records as directed.

  • Acting on behalf of the repair station when authorized.

  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Chief Inspector.

  • Duties and responsibilities may be delegated to qualified individuals with Chief Inspector approval; however, delegation does not relieve the Chief Inspector of overall responsibility.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Must have relevant work experience

  • A&P License (mandatory).

  • Inspection experience in an MRO setting on wide-body aircraft.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
