JOB TITLE: Aircraft Maintenance Technician
LOCATION: Savannah, GA

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Independently perform aircraft modifications and maintenance, including removal and installation of airframes, landing gear, engines, electrical components, and control systems to meet specifications and performance standards.

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing of mechanical systems, meeting standard completion times.

  • Provide work direction and promote quality standards among technicians.

  • Act as Mechanical Team Lead (MTL) when required.

  • Coordinate with Inspection to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and documentation.

  • Properly tag, store, and secure customer property and aircraft components.

  • Operate and supervise the use of ground support and special equipment.

  • Assist in aircraft movement as needed.

  • Train new employees on maintenance programs, manuals, and procedures.

  • Collaborate with other departments for component repairs and overhauls.

  • Utilize material tracking systems for parts and labor documentation.

  • Maintain clean and organized workspaces using 6S and Lean principles.

  • Support aircraft certification and testing, including flight tests if needed.

  • Properly use, maintain, and store company tools and equipment.

  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 4+ years of aviation maintenance experience, including 3+ years on mid/large-size aircraft.

  • Corporate aircraft experience preferred.

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.

  • Valid Driver’s License required.

  • Advanced knowledge of aircraft maintenance and inspection procedures.

  • Familiarity with maintenance manuals, IPCs, service bulletins, structural repair manuals, and engineering drawings.

  • Strong understanding of FAA regulations, quality control manuals, and company policies.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
