Job Description

JOB TITLE: Aircraft Maintenance Technician II
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $32.18/hour

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Perform complex inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision.

  • Communicate effectively to receive and complete work assignments.

  • Coordinate with MTL, STM, and Inspection teams to meet FAA and internal documentation requirements.

  • Complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and other paperwork accurately and on time.

  • Assist with shift turnovers and ensure work meets quality standards.

  • Tag and store aircraft components and customer property securely.

  • Operate ground support equipment safely (power carts, hydraulic mules, lifts, tow tugs, forklifts, etc.).

  • Assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.

  • Train and mentor less experienced technicians.

  • Protect customer property (PTP).

  • Collect and dispose of waste fluids properly.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace using 6S and Lean principles.

  • Implement continuous improvement processes.

  • Properly use and store company tools and equipment.

  • Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment as required.

  • Use the material tracking system for parts requests, squawk tracking, and labor charging.

  • Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, including flight tests if required.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station & Quality Control manuals, and company policies.

  • MUST BE US PERSONS
