We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.
Job Details:
Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Personnel Security Clearance.
Shift: First
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Summary:Â
Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot T-7 aircraft systems, including communications/navigation, instrumentation, mechanical, and electrical components.
Use technical orders, schematics, and diagrams to diagnose issues and perform component-level repairs.
Operate ground support equipment and conduct routine maintenance on assigned aircraft.
Remove/open aircraft panels (excluding those requiring Command and Response access) to troubleshoot and perform maintenance.
Adhere to all safety, environmental, and tool control programs.
Accurately complete maintenance records—manual and electronic—in accordance with USAF and company standards.
Perform scheduled inspections and unscheduled maintenance tasks following program directives.
Mentor and provide on-the-job training to junior maintenance technicians.
Support ongoing development and test programs as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Personnel Security Clearance.
Must comply with all company information systems security protocols.
U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations.
High school diploma or GED required.
5–7 years of aircraft maintenance experience with a strong background in troubleshooting and repair.
Proven experience leading or mentoring maintenance teams.
Ability to work rotating shifts as needed.
Skilled in component-level troubleshooting using schematics and technical data.
Familiarity with aviation regulatory requirements and quality management systems.
Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, schematics, and circuits.
Experience supporting Development or Flight Test Programs preferred.
Knowledge of DoD maintenance systems (e.g., AFTO 781, IMDS) is a plus.
Experience working with U.S. government personnel or stakeholders is highly valued.
Background in quality systems and regulatory compliance.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and under equipment.
Exposure to loud noise, airborne particles, and extreme temperatures is expected.
Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as required.
