Job Details:
Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)
Shift: 2nd / 3rd shift (M-F, with potential OT and weekends)

Summary:
Performs visual inspections of in-process and completed electronic units, electromechanical assemblies, and mechanical components using predetermined methods and specifications.
Identifies structural flaws, defects, and missing welds, utilizing various measuring devices.
Accepts or rejects units based on quality standards and works from blueprints, diagrams, and inspection instructions.
Ensures compliance with statistical process controls and conducts line clearances between production lots.
Inspect parts and assemblies using drawings, CATIA, process specifications, and quality control requirements.
Perform dimensional inspections of components and assemblies.
Document and report non-conforming materials, hardware, software, tools, or assemblies.
Inspect vendor, subcontractor, and in-house manufactured parts for compliance.
Follow a structured sequence of inspections to ensure accuracy.
Maintain and prepare quality records.
Support production flow by assisting and cross-training in Assembly Technician roles.
Employees may be assigned other responsibilities as needed.
Training and certification will be provided for any additional work.
Required Skills:
Experience: Familiarity with aviation manufacturing practices
Skills: Proficient in using measurement tools and reviewing engineering drawings
Preferred: Experience in Assembly and First Article Inspection (FAI)
