Job Description

JOB TITLE: Aircraft Functional Systems Test Specialists
LOCATION: 
Saint Louis, MO
PAY RATE: $51.72/hour + Per Diem 

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Compensation & Contract Details:

  • $600/week per diem (for qualified candidates) in addition to base pay

  • Guaranteed 160 hours minimum pay, even if contract ends early

  • Contract anticipated to extend beyond 160 hours

  • Immediate start

Qualifying Questions:

  • Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations?

  • Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

  • Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary: 

  • Perform advanced and specialized structural and mechanical assembly on aircraft, including prototype production.

  • May guide other assemblers in proper methods.

Requirements: 

  • High School diploma/GED + 7+ years’ related experience, OR Associate degree + 5 years, OR Bachelor’s + 2 years

  • 3–5 years of aircraft assembly experience

  • Experience with systems such as: hydraulics, pneumatics, landing gear, environmental controls, propulsion, fuel, engines, actuators, navigation, communications, and fire suppression

  • 100% onsite at assigned location with regular, predictable attendance

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (per ITAR requirements)

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a factory environment (standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, confined spaces)

  • Lift up to 35 lbs; occasional team lifts for heavier loads

  • Frequent overhead reaching, walking, standing, balancing on uneven surfaces/ladders

  • Tolerance for exposure to noise, sealants, solvents, metals, plastics, and atmospheric conditions

  • Ability to use hand/power tools and handle hazardous materials safely
