Job Description

JOB TITLE: Aircraft Engine Shop Manager

LOCATION: Kansas City, MO

PAY: $85,000 - $100,000 per year

Summary: 

 

We are seeking an Aircraft Engine Maintenance Manager with general aviation experience, specifically in commercial aircraft engines (e.g., TRENT 700, TRENT 800, PW4000, PW2000, CFM56, CF6, CF34). The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, adapt quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of technicians in performing inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on commercial aircraft engines.

  • Troubleshoot and repair engines according to regulations, manufacturer instructions, and company policies.

  • Ensure accurate maintenance records by completing required forms, computer entries, and logbook entries.

  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Required Skills:

  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification.

  • 5+ years of aircraft engine maintenance experience.

  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and airworthiness requirements.

  • Possession of adequate tools.

  • Successful background check and drug screening.
