Job Description

JOB TITLE: Aircraft Engine Mechanic - Experience Required 

LOCATION: Kansas City, MO

PAY RATE: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour.

Summary: 

  • We are looking for experienced A&P mechanics to fulfill positions in the 145 MRO engine shop. 

  • Mechanics will report directly to the Engine shop manager.

  • Repair and inspect various commercial engines.

  • Trent 800 module swaps.

  • Assemble / disassembly engine components.

  • Read blueprints / technical manuals.

  • Will inspect modules, fuel, oil, and air related systems.

Required Skills:

  • Engine mechanic experience of commercial aircraft.

  • 5 plus years of relative recent experience

  • Knowledge of various hand / power tools.

  • Experience removing engine components.

  • Experience troubleshooting engine components.

Desired Skills:

  • A&P license

  • Engine run certificate.

  • Documentation that Engine Run training was completed will be considered.

  • Gen Fam certifications for 747, 757, 767, 777

  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
