JOB TITLE: Aircraft Cabinet Maker II
LOCATION: Dallas, TX
PAY RATE: $26.93/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Fabricate wood-surfaced subassemblies using blueprints, aircraft specifications, and engineering drawings

  • Assemble cabinet shells by pinning, gluing, and installing hardware such as drawer slides, hinges, and latches

  • Apply exterior finishing materials including laminates, veneers, and cap strips

  • Operate stationary and handheld power tools to fabricate or disassemble furniture components

  • Follow all safety, 5S, and housekeeping standards; use required personal protective equipment

  • Use material tracking systems to manage parts demand, track discrepancies, and complete work sign-offs

  • Support process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methods

  • Collaborate with senior technicians to improve safety, reduce costs, and optimize cycle time

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • 2 years of cabinetmaking experience

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

  • Basic knowledge of cabinetmaking tools, materials, and processes

  • Computer literacy required

  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs and work in confined or restricted spaces

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

  • Ability to work any shift

  • Working knowledge of  inspection and process specifications preferred

  • Aerospace industry experience preferred

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
