JOB TITLE: Aircraft Cabinet Maker II 
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Fabricate furniture and wood subassemblies per blueprints and design specifications.

• Assemble, pin, and glue cabinet shells; install hardware such as drawer slides, hinges, and latches.

• Apply exterior materials, including laminates, veneers, and cap strips.

• Operate stationary and hand-held power tools for fabrication and disassembly.

• Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies; use personal protective equipment.

• Utilize material tracking systems for parts demand, squawk tracking, and sign-offs.

• Collaborate with lead technicians to improve processes, enhance safety, and reduce costs using Lean Six Sigma techniques.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Basic knowledge of cabinetmaking processes, products, and tools.

• Two (2) years of cabinetmaking experience; aerospace experience preferred.

• Familiarity with inspection and process specifications preferred.

• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).

• Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift up to 40 lbs, and work any shift.

• Basic computer skills required.
