JOB TITLE: Aircraft Cabinet Maker I

PAY RATE: $23.31/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Learn technical skills, regulatory requirements, and tooling used in aircraft cabinetmaking.

• Develop technical competency and problem-solving skills for progression to technician level.

• Prepare and fabricate furniture using design drawings, tools, and materials (laminates, veneers, cap strips) following safety procedures.

• Use material tracking systems to manage parts demand, track work, and sign off on completed tasks.

• Follow safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies and ensure aircraft interiors are protected.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Experience in woodworking, wood finishing, or auto body/painting in a technical environment, or completion of a Technical Certificate in Cabinet Making preferred

• Youth apprenticeship program completion in relevant area preferred

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

• Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift up to 40 lbs, and work any shift.

• Computer literate.
