JOB TITLE: Aircraft Cabinet Maker I
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $23.31/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
-
Learn technical skills, regulatory requirements, and tooling used in aircraft cabinetmaking.
-
Develop technical competency and problem-solving skills for progression to technician level.
-
Prepare and fabricate furniture using design drawings, tools, and materials (laminates, veneers, cap strips) following safety procedures.

Use material tracking systems to manage parts demand, track work, and sign off on completed tasks.

Follow safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies and ensure aircraft interiors are protected.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED required
-
Experience in woodworking, wood finishing, or auto body/painting in a technical environment, or completion of a Technical Certificate in Cabinet Making preferred

Youth apprenticeship program completion in relevant area preferred

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift up to 40 lbs, and work any shift.

Computer literate.
