JOB TITLE: Aircraft Cabinet Finisher II
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
-
Prepare furniture for finishing and disassembly using blueprints and specifications.
-
Perform high-quality repairs and polishing of finished surfaces on aircraft and in the shop.

Apply finishes using spray equipment, sandpapers, polishes, adhesives, and other tools.

Comply with safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies, using personal protective equipment to protect aircraft interiors.

Use the material tracking system for parts demand, tracking squawks, and work sign-offs.

Collaborate with lead technicians to implement process improvements using Lean Six-Sigma and other techniques.
Requirements:

Working knowledge of inspection and process specifications.

Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.

Ability to climb ladders, work in restricted areas, lift up to 40 lbs, and work any shift.

Computer literate.
