Summary:
Perform aircraft assembly, structural assembly, and sheet metal work in a manufacturing environment.
Assemble aircraft components using hand tools, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
Utilize tools including torque wrenches, drills, inspection tools, riveting tools, and other assembly equipment.
Read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions to ensure accurate assembly and compliance.
Perform structural fitting, fastening, and sheet metal assembly to meet quality and manufacturing requirements.
Support production schedules while maintaining safety, quality, and workmanship standards.
Collaborate with production and manufacturing teams to resolve assembly issues and support operational goals.
Maintain flexibility to support overtime and weekend work as business needs require.
Requirements:
2–5 years of experience in assembly, structures, sheet metal, or manufacturing.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience using hand tools including torque wrenches, drills, inspection tools, riveting tools, and similar equipment.
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions.
Candidates must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and any required medical screenings (vision, hearing, or physical if applicable).
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in structures assembly and/or sheet metal assembly.
F-35, F-16, or C-130 aircraft experience preferred.
