Job Title: Aerospace Structures Mechanic

Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Perform close-tolerance drilling, reaming, and installation/removal in critical structural areas, including blind holes for new components.
Seal, paint, and preserve structures following standard repair procedures.
Interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and specifications for structural repairs and modifications.
Utilize tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot-level structural modifications.
Requirements:
4+ years of on-aircraft heavy structures experience.
Recent experience with VIP or specialty aircraft interior installations.
Proficiency in aircraft repair procedures, structural modifications, and technical publications.
Familiarity with aircraft-specific tools and schematics.
Ability to obtain customer approval for aircraft access (dual citizenship may restrict access).
Physically capable of climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 35 lbs.
Comfortable working on elevated platforms and using protective gear.
Must pass visual acuity and color perception tests.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Desired Skills:
FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant certification preferred.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components, including sheet metal and structural repairs.
Access and manage work instructions and parts requests via computer systems.
Operate aircraft-specific tools (e.g., torque wrenches, micrometers) and equipment (e.g., forklifts, cranes).
Guide lower-level technicians during maintenance and modification tasks.
