Job Description

JOB TITLE: Aerospace Repair & Modification Technician
LOCATION: Heath, OH
PAY RATE: $29/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Assist with disassembly of system components to support failure correction or system modifications

  • Help troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components

  • Perform basic validation/verification testing of systems and components

  • Fabricate and modify aerospace parts per engineering specifications

  • Assist with tasks related to the safe handling of aerospace vehicles (e.g., jacking, towing, system operations)

  • Work under supervision to complete assigned tasks

  • Regular and predictable attendance is required

  • Disassemble components to support repairs or updates

  • Support troubleshooting of mechanical/electrical systems

  • Fabricate or modify components using hand tools and technical specifications

Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance Required

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 1+ years of experience using hand tools

  • 1+ year of experience working with a microscope

  • Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Willingness to work with beryllium or other chemical elements

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
