Job Description

JOB TITLE: Aerospace Manufacturing Planner 4
LOCATION: Everett, WA
PAY RATE: $59/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Plan and lead departmental and organizational efforts to develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and illustrations documenting as-built configurations.

  • Lead development of manufacturing strategies and concepts supporting key business objectives.

  • Prepare build analyses and cost estimates.

  • Drive integration of complex suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technologies to meet manufacturing and delivery goals.

  • Participate in supplier source selection to ensure manufacturing readiness.

  • Define and manage complex tooling requirements from initial design through end-of-use disposition.

  • Lead investigations into complex or systemic manufacturing issues.

  • Guide teams performing producibility assessments of design concepts.

  • Support enterprise benchmarking to incorporate best practices.

  • Develop and lead implementation of complex work statements and sequencing to meet delivery commitments.

  • Create scheduling templates and update procedures to comply with business and regulatory requirements.

  • Document new job practices, techniques, and standards.

  • Work under minimal direction, providing technical leadership across teams.

Requirements: 

 

  • Minimum 6 years aerospace manufacturing planning experience

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

  • Experience writing and revising manufacturing work instructions

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in the following systems:

    • PDM (Product Data Management)

    • CAPP (Computer-Aided Process Planning)

    • CMES (Common Manufacturing Execution System)
