Job Description

JOB TITLE: Mechanical Design Engineer - All Levels
LOCATION: Tulsa, OK

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Develop project deliverables including feasibility studies, integration plans, clash investigations, and production documentation.

  • Create CATIA models and designs per manufacturing and design requirements.

  • Collaborate with stress engineers, manufacturing engineers, suppliers, and management to ensure manufacturability.

  • Resolve technical issues impacting performance, cost, or schedule through collaboration with specialists.

  • Provide technical input to engineering teams and contribute to process improvements related to aircraft fuselage structure and components.

  • Prepare engineering models and documentation compliant with engineering principles, regulations, company standards, and contract requirements.

  • Ensure designs are certifiable and produce necessary data for testing and certification.

Requirements:

  • ABET-accredited Engineering degree required.

  • Minimum 4 years of aviation industry experience.

  • Prior Boeing experience required; within the last 5 years preferred.

  • Proficient in CATIA modeling.

  • Strong skills in MS Office and ability to learn new software tools.

  • Familiarity with aircraft fuselage structure design and associated certification/qualification requirements.

  • Self-directed with ability to work effectively in diverse teams.

  • Skilled in writing reports, specifications, work statements, and technical documents, with strong presentation and communication skills.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
