JOB TITLE: Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator
LOCATION: Clearwater, FL
PAY RATE: $26-28/hour

Summary: 

• Screen print solder paste manually or using semi-automatic equipment.

• Operate adhesive dispensing equipment.

• Load components supplied in tubes or reels onto feeders, and load feeders onto placement equipment.

• Hand place some SMT components as needed.

• Place assembled PCBs into solder reflow ovens.

• Use standard electronic hand tools (solder, flux, adhesive).

• Utilize schematic diagrams, drawings, visual aids, and other instructions to identify defects.

Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED

• Experience with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) manufacturing processes

• Ability to operate and set up SMT, inspection, and AOI equipment

• Experience with SMT-related tools such as X-ray machines, stencil printers, and hand assembly tools

• Prior machine operator experience

• Experience in electronics manufacturing environments

• Familiarity with automated assembly and inspection processes

• Maintain adherence to quality, safety, and process compliance standards

• Knowledge of basic machine shop equipment
