JOB TITLE: Inspector Solder - 2nd Shift
LOCATION: Clearwater, FL
PAY RATE: $26-28/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Visually inspect solder and conformal coating on circuit card assemblies per IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.

  • Follow predetermined inspection methods, operations, and prescribed specifications.

  • Review and interpret instructions, drawings, inspection checklists, and reference documents.

  • Use measuring tools such as dial indicators, micrometers, and scales to verify conformance.

  • Ensure all inspections meet manufacturing and industry quality standards.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience inspecting solder connections on surface mount and plated-through-hole components.

  • Experience inspecting conformal coating of PWBs per IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001.

  • Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.

  • Ability to interpret drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, and work instructions.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

  • Proficient in using personal computers.

  • Ability to communicate professionally and diplomatically when addressing quality defects.

  • Ability to Read Engineering Drawings — 2–4 years

  • Documentation Skills — 1–2 years

  • IPC-A-610 — 2–4 years

  • IPC-J-STD — 2–4 years

  • Measuring — 2–4 years

  • Visual Inspection — 2–4 years

  • Team Player 

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
