Job Description

JOB TITLE: Aircraft Systems - $5k Relocation Bonus 
LOCATION: 
North Charleston, SC
PAY RATE: $29-38/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Install aircraft structural parts and assemblies such as landing gear, control surfaces, exterior panels, carpets, blankets, roller trays/ball mats, stowbins, sidewalls, ceiling panels, lavatories, galleys, doors, and seats.

  • Install various aircraft system components including tubing, valves, regulators, actuators, compressors, and ducts.

  • Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment such as screwdrivers, ratchets, power screwdrivers, multimeters, and continuity testers.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; vocational school/Associate degree or higher preferred.

  • 7+ years of experience in aviation or aerospace.

  • 7+ years of experience using software applications such as internet navigation, email, Microsoft Office, or other specialized programs.

  • 7+ years of experience following detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications in English.

  • 7+ years of experience in a technical or mechanical field using hand, power, and pneumatic tools.

  • 7+ years of experience with hydraulic and pneumatic system design.

  • Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).

  • Ability to perform physical activities including bending, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, climbing/balancing, reaching overhead, twisting, and head/neck rotation.

  • Ability to carry/lift up to 35 lbs.

  • Ability to work safely with high-hazard chemicals.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
