JOB TITLE: Aerospace Buyer
LOCATION: El Segundo, CA
PAY RATE: $26-42/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with organizational goals

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors

• Support supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contracts

• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams

• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including long lead times

• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation

• Support product production lines as needed

• Assist in project planning, defining objectives and scopes, and communicating with stakeholders

• Perform additional responsibilities as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field

• 4+ years of procurement experience in a technical environment

• Self-starter with ability to drive improvements and meet deadlines

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree (MBA) or related discipline

• 10+ years of procurement experience in a technical environment

• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics 365

• Knowledge of AS9100D, ISO9001, and other quality standards
