JOB TITLE: Software Engineer – Artificial Intelligence Level 3
LOCATION: Cambridge, MA
PAY RATE: $86.50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Design, develop, document, and implement AI algorithms and models using standard methods and tools, considering ethical implications and potential biases.

  • Leverage existing AI tools to analyze their effectiveness for code generation and application to avionics software.

  • Collect, clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to ensure data quality and reliability; identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.

  • Test, debug, and document AI models and software systems.

  • Train, evaluate, and optimize the performance and capabilities of AI models.

  • Conduct Safety Risk Management processes for AI models according to organizational standards.

  • Integrate and deploy efficient and scalable AI models into production environments.

  • Monitor, validate, and improve AI models in production.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams and domain experts to understand requirements, gather feedback, and iterate AI models and algorithms.

  • Research and implement emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulations in AI engineering.

  • Contribute to AI Design Practices and organizational knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of software engineering experience, or Master’s degree with 1+ year experience.

  • Strong willingness to leverage AI tools and technologies to accelerate software development and testing.

  • Familiarity with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch is a plus.

  • Experience with C, C++, Python, or modern coding languages.

  • Familiarity with ADA or avionics software is a plus.

  • Strong collaboration and teamwork mindset in fast-paced environments.

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education or experience in AI algorithms and/or use of AI tools.

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance if sponsored.
