Summary:
Design, develop, and execute software test and verification processes to ensure quality, reliability, and functionality.
Partner with stakeholders to define software requirements, test objectives, strategies, and testability.
Create, document, and maintain test plans, cases, procedures, artifacts, metrics, and data in compliance with data privacy and security protocols.
Set up and configure test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations to replicate production systems.
Execute test scenarios to verify functionality, performance, and safety, identifying and reporting defects and potential vulnerabilities.
Provide feedback on software design and functionality to resolve issues.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Lead software project management activities across multifunctional teams.
Set up and maintain HIL automation systems to support system-level software and hardware testing.
Develop, document, and maintain standardized, efficient, and innovative processes, tools, methodologies, and performance metrics to streamline the software engineering lifecycle.
Lead continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of safety-critical software.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in fast-paced development environments.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in software engineering, or Master’s degree with 1+ year experience.
Proficient in version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Experience with automated testing frameworks (PyTest, Selenium, JUnit) and monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and artifact repositories (Nexus, Artifactory) is a plus.
Willingness to use AI tools in CI/CD development; prior experience is a plus.
Ability to collaborate with HIL teams to integrate software with hardware-in-the-loop testing environments.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with modern CI/CD techniques and/or AI tools.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance if sponsored.
