Summary:
Apply engineering principles to assess and resolve product and process issues throughout the lifecycle.
Conduct root cause analysis and develop solutions for design non-conformances.
Research technical, operational, and quality issues and design interim and final solutions.
Analyze and document reported problems, identify deviations affecting safety or design intent, and manage resolution.
Develop and implement product/process improvements.
Support cross-functional teams and participate in design reviews.
Ensure supplier and partner compliance with technical and quality standards.
Develop customer communications for safe operation and maintenance.
Participate in on-site repair teams and accident investigation/support activities.
Evaluate damage repair or structural modifications, design jacking/shoring schemes, and ensure safe work environments.
Design interim structural repairs and conduct static strength analysis.
Develop and implement non-destructive test procedures, tools, and standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field required.
Strong communication skills, decisive, resourceful, and innovative.
Ability to work independently and provide guidance to others.
Willingness to support off-shift, weekend, or overtime work as needed.
Experience with structural systems, interiors, operational issues, and delivery support.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in delivery or operational support roles.
Experience with issue resolution and functional testing.
Skilled in technical discussions and customer communications.
Familiarity with change management processes.
